A collection of stucco-paintings representing different geometrical designs decorated with various birds and Christian symbols, found in the ruins of monasteries in the west of Alexandria.

5th century

In the first one, there is a black disk surrounded by a decorative frame in which a white bird with a long tail is painted.

Origin: Kom Abu-Girgah, south-west of Alexandria.
