Top:
Mural painting (Fresco) showing three Sts, the name of each is written in Coptic above the figure; one of them is names "Apollo", the others are illegible.  To the right a horseman adoring, on the other side a Saint martyr on a horse and Coptic inscriptions over his head.
Origin: Bawit,  Monastery of St. Apollo and Apip his friend - 6th century

Bottom:
Mural painting representing Saints; in the middle a saint is praying for a sinner, who is kneeling at his feet.  This scene indicates the intercession of saints.

Origin: The Monastery of St. Jeremias, Saqqarah - 6th century
